Spottyed Snuggles #125 Move

“If you want the best seat in the house … move the dog.”

~Unknown

Miss CookiesNCream on the left, snuggled with The Bandit on the loveseat.

How could I ask them to move when they gave me these looks?

They were waiting for me to join them for a Spottyed Snuggle!

“And so what do dogs want? They want what they want when they want it. Just like us.”

― Ted Kerasote,

Merle’s Door: Lessons from a Freethinking Dog

The Bandit certainly was a freethinking dog!

Spottyed Snuggles #109 Happy

“Dogs are happy with few things because

they have already observed man

who is unhappy with many things!”

Mehmet Murat ildan

I loved how both my Spoiled Spotts were always happy,

no matter what we did.

I think they were just happy to be with me.

Spottyed Snuggles #108 Soothing

“Petting, scratching, and cuddling a dog could be as soothing to the mind and heart as deep meditation and almost as good for the soul as prayer.”

― Dean KoontzFalse Memory

Miss CookiesNCream and the Bandit loved to cuddle with me.

The body pillow represented where I always ended up- as the middle of a Spottyed Sandwich!

Having had them in my life was very soothing for me.

They did more for me than I was able to do for them.

For that, I am most humble that they were part of my life.

This was taken 02/08.

Spottyed Snuggles #107 Magic

“Sometimes you don’t need words to feel better;

you just need the nearness of your dog.”

― Natalie LloydA Snicker of Magic

The Bandit and Miss CookiesNCream, taken  01/2008.

No matter what kind of day I had,

they worked their magic of cheering me up as soon as I walked in the door.

Spottyed Snuggles #98 Amazing

” I think dogs are the most amazing creatures; they give unconditional love.

For me they are the role model for being alive.”

Gilda Radner

La Petite Grande Dame Cherie certainly kept me going after

my beloved CookiesNCream and Bandit had passed in 2008.

Spottyed Snuggles #97 Mind

“A dog at play has the mind of a wise martial arts master,

a mind capable of perfect focus.”

Spottyed Snuggles #95 Laugh

“The only way to get through life is to laugh your way through it.

You either have to laugh or cry.

I prefer to laugh. Crying gives me a headache.”

― Marjorie Pay Hinckley

Their happy faces always made me laugh.

Spottyed Snuggles #93 Amazing

“It’s just the most amazing thing to love a dog, isn’t it?

It makes our relationships with people seem as boring as a bowl of oatmeal.”
― John Grogan

Spottyed Snuggles #90 First Friend

  • “When the Man waked up he said,
‘What is Wild Dog doing here?’
    And the Woman said,
‘His name is not Wild Dog any more,
    but the First Friend,
because he will be our friend
for always and always and always.'”
     Rudyard Kipling
