Spottyed Snuggles #129 Christmas

“Christmas is not a date on a calendar.

It’s more than a state of mind.

It’s a condition of the heart.”

― Toni Sorenson

I am very grateful to have learned this important life lesson from the Dalmatians.

It was Christmas to them each and every day.

We wish you a very Merry Christmas!

I’m Only a Cat

I’m only a cat,

and I stay in my place…

Up there on your chair,

on your bed or your face!

I’m only a cat,

and I don’t finick much…

I’m happy with cream

and anchovies and such!

I’m only a cat,

and we’ll get along fine…

As long as you know

I’m not yours… you’re all mine!

I wanted to re-blog this:

ShaynaCat's Blog

I don’t suppose there’s anyone who’ll read this post without already knowing @GeorgeTheDuck – an outstanding barktender and DJ who only has to waddle into any pawty and wave a wing to make people smile in anticipation of the laughter and the entertainment to come.

George is especially famous within #NipClub where, in addition to the countless shifts he’s worked during the Thursday night pawties,  he set up and was the first Manager of #NipClub Monthly, and the tremendous strides the new venture has made within a year are in no small measure thanks to the efforts of a 3″ catnip duck with a colossal personality.

That’s only one aspect of George’s character, though. Many of us also know him behind the scenes as a kind and caring friend always ready to lend an understanding ear to problems or sort out a piece of tangled coding – not to mention…

Review: All Spot LED Motion Activated Cat Ball

I recieved the All Spot LED Motion Activated Cat Ball toy in the Meow Breakfast’s swag bag, sponsored by PetCareRx at Bark World 2012.

I couldn’t wait to get home and road-test it with the ManCat. He, like most cats, have their preferences of toys and balls. He loves swatting ball type toys around as if he is the world’s greatest soccer player! It also helps that he is a polydactyl. 🙂

No sooner than I turned the switch on for the motion activated LED did the fun begin:

As you can see, Panky is thoroughly enjoying himself with the All Spot LED Motion Activated Cat Ball toy.

The nice thing about this toy is that I can click the switch to the off position so the ball does not light up during the middle of the night when cats are typically active.

I have to admit, since these pictures were taken, the ball has disappeared under the furniture.

Has anyone observed a similar experience with this All  Spot LED Motion Activated Cat Ball toy?

The description on the back of the packaging states “All Spot brand cat toys are designed to appeal to your cat’s natural instinct for play and excercise. So, they’re sure to keep your cat healthy and happy.”

The All Spot LED Motion Activated Cat Ball is available from Ethical Products, Inc., Bloomfield, NJ, U.S.A.

Disclaimer: I am employed by The Nutro Company. This All Spot LED Motion Activated Cat Ball toy was included as promotional items for attending Bark World Expo 2012. I am not compensated for reviewing this cat toy.
